At The Dojo Project, we preach safety, respect and of course, fun. Ahead of your first class to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, here are some things to help get you ready for your first time on the mats:
1) Hydrate throughout the day. This will help with post training recovery.
2) Get in a good meal 2.5hrs prior to the start of your class (and plan a post training meal)
Things you’ll want to bring with you:
1) water bottle or favourite sports drink
2) comfortable clothing (ideally compression to avoid snagging) if you’re attending NoGi
3) indoor flip flops/sandals (mandatory)
